HONKING OR NO HONKING!

Before I learnt how to drive, I was at the other side. I used to wonder why people honk so much. It was quiet irritating and so seemed uncalled activity. Trust me, I actually felt, no honking is actually possible!

Really!!!

Of course, I am on the driving seat and who ever thinks it is possible to not honk, please meet me in person!!!

It is absolutely impossible in India.

Absolutely impossible.

There are so many people who walks busy in their phone, not even looking if any vehicle is coming.
There are others who will just come from any small roads joining the big roads, in full speed; without any horn and there is full possibility of two vehicles banging. This is not all. You have given signal to turn, and someone will just walk in front of your car, if you don't honk.

If you don't honk in both these conditions, then bang-bang!

Really, for those who have visited the foreign countries, please keep these expectations till you remain out of India. Here, we talk loudly, we are a little in hurry all the given time and we can't do without loud HONKS.

So for everyone's safety, let there be some noise!!!!

Modi-fying India!

March of our fav Mamta di, the agitation of the politicians and the sleeplessness of the riches, what is the first thing which comes to your mind?

Kitne Gaye aapke ;-)

The fiasco that people are having a lot of trouble, is definitely true. But the common man...with little money is with Modi in modifying India.

With UP election around the corner, I think every politician can understand the plight which many political parties would be going through in UP. How are they going to buy voters, how are they going to buy various MLAs to make their government, how are they going to do various rallies and advertisements. Everything needs few(many many) bundles of 500/1000!

Just wondering, if BJP has done all advertising taiyari?

Anyways, most of the common man is actually happy irrespective of the news channel's reports. There is another group who are busy complaining about Modi, his demonetization scheme and are busy looking for colleagues'/juniors'/relatives'  accounts. At first I thought it's just few funny forwards but this day I personally know of few people who have given money to their relatives and are looking for help in colleagues.

Just wondering, will they get their money back?

Not that there is no trouble due to this new change but seeing soo many riches/politicians soo troubled, it feels good :)  If not all, Kuch tho Kala dhan niklega.

I didn't even stand in line and hardly had a effect due to this change, still requesting people to keep calm and help our dear Modi uncle to modify our India.

Jai Modi-fied India!

Jai Hind!

The current state of the nation disturbs me....and I am sure that rest aam janta too is disturbed. All I know is that there are just a few people who are creating a chaos in the nation.

Why?

I don't know. All I know is, all this is not required.

Only if I could create a TV show, I would shoot the real heroes. The great INDIAN ARMY/NAVY/AIR FORCE/POLICE FORCE.

Real fighters. Real adversities, Real challenges (of course taking care not to leak the location and other important details).

But it would be channel where the ANY of OUR PROTECTORS could come and tell a real frightening story....of a war...misery of losing a friend. The plight of the family. How the family coped up without him, what did that child felt when he lost his father, what that brother/sister felt when he lost him, what that wife felt, what that mother and father felt! Cause, we read that Ek jawan Sahid hua, but with him, there was a family, a friend, a nation too! Shouldn't we all know about everyone who went saving us. Even the ones who have the audacity to shout anti-national slogans.

The jawans/officers/hawaldars can also share something really funny and nice. The time when they go back home. The time when they receive a letter. Or anything which pleases them. Or the plight of being away from their families for months. Missing wedding ceremonies of their own siblings, or seeing their first child on mobile phones(thanks to the internet and smartphones.)

By means of this TV show, I would let people know the real heroes. Let me say it again, REAL HEROS, not REEL.

To make each and every one staying in India understand, that someone is trying to ensure that we are safe at cost of their own lives, not fearing what will happen to their families. To awaken each and every Indian to respect the peace we have, because of them. To make it clear to every Indian, that we are alive in this free world, not because of their money, jobs, their home or power, they sleep every night in peace or party every night with joy, it's alllll alll alll at cost of someone guarding the border/ensuring our security, at cost of their own lives.

The Night!

"Yeah! Finally, the long weekend! So, as per our plan, we are going to Goaaaaa!" Ritu yelled!
She along with her friends packed and went to bed to sleep early and leave early for Goa on 15th August.

Post mid-night, there was a knock at the door. Ritu woke up with sleepy eyes and answered. She tried to look who it was. She couldn't see anyone. She thought it must be one of her friends doing the usual prank. She opened the door.

Standing there was a lady in torn and dirty clothes, sad face but the confidence, beauty and elegance on her face couldn't be ignored. Ritu anxiously asked, "Who are you?"

"I am Mother India. Can I come in, Ritu?" the lady spoke.

"Yeah!" Ritu replied. The lady walked in. Ritu held the door and stood there. Facing her back.
Mother India spoke, "68 years have passed since I became free, but I still can't breathe. I feel so strained, deserted and alone."

Ritu stood in silence and was listening to the traumatic and deep voice.

She continued, "When I was not free, I was still clean. There was some laws which people feared. There was respect and love. There was humanity alive. People cared for me too. But now, law has become a joke. Look around. The roads are so dirty, the air is polluted, there is so much noise all around, trees are being cut! Safety of girls, children, child labour. Corruption at every level and there are so many other problems. Each and every problem, let me repeat, each and every problem is as big as being a captive."

There was silence. After a few minutes, she spoke again, "The only hope for me is you. The youth. Who has plans to enjoy the long weekend. Who is deserting me but has a lot of complains. In every other line, they say..arre India mein yehi hota hai....bahar settle hote hai yaar!

She turned and faced Ritu. She looked into her eyes and continued, "I need you. Now!"
She walked out of the door and closed it behind. Ritu stood there. For long.

Someone was shaking her. She opened her eyes. Her friend was telling her to get up and get ready for the Goa trip. She got up. She spoke, "We are not going to Goa."

Her friends were shocked. All of them together asked, "Are you all right? We are soooo going."

She said, "It's Independence day. Let's give this day to India. Let's do something for her. Let's reach out to the needy. Let's clean the city. Or something. For our India!"

One of her friends spoke, "Have you gone mad? We are really getting late. If you want to come then please, else we will start the trip."

She said, "You may. I won't. I want to live in this country forever. I want to stand up for her, today. Sorry, starting from today, till always."

She left the room. Her friends went out of the house thinking that she has become crazy. They sat in the car.

After an hour Ritu was all set to start her day. Unsure what to do, feeling alone but determined. To her surprise, her friends were there. In the car, waiting for her. One of them spoke, "Mata ji, from where do we need to start? Can you direct us?"

She smiled. With tears in her eyes. She sat in the car happily.
